  • Do you offer photography gift certificates?
Yes, I do. If you wish to make your partner, relative, friend or colleague happy with this increadible gift experience, please check my photography package options and click on GIFT CERTIFICATE in the menu.
  • Are you an insured photographer?
Yes, I am full insured for my photography services.
  • What if the weather is bad?
Unfortunately, the weather is often unpredictable and the session needs to be cancelled. If that's the case, we'll alocate another date and time for your maternity photo session.
  • When is the best time to do my newborn photo session?
Newborn sessions are best done within the first two weeks after birth.
  • How long will the newborn photo session last?
You can expect your session to take up to three hours (depending on the package you have chosen). There may be times we have to wait for baby to fall asleep in order to get them posed without too much fussing.
  • What should I bring for the newborn photo shoot?
Bring what you would normally pack in your newborn carry-bag. Some nappies, wet-wipes, a nappy cream, an extra pair of clothes, a formula and feeding bottle (if necessary). If you have an heirloom item or something of a sentimental value that you would like to incorporate, please feel free to bring it with you!
  • What should I wear on a newborn photography session?
I always suggest to keep it simple and avoid busy patterns and logos. A simple black or white cotton knit cami or shirt is always beautiful. You can also aim to wear matching colours with your partner. If you are planning to do skin to skin poses, you can bring a strapless top or tank. Bring extra clothes with you. Since your baby will be naked for the most of the session, accidents will most likely happen. It's best to be prepared for a clothing range!
  • Should I feed the baby before the journey to your studio?
It's a good idea to wait to feed your baby until you arrive for your session. A full stomach will make baby super sleepy for their session, so it's best to do it right before the photo session.
  • What should I do at home before our newborn photo session?
Try to keep your baby awake before the session. I recommend at least one hour to ensure a sleepy baby during the session. You can give the baby a bath to keep them awake, plus they will be fresh and clean before their session. Don't forget to put lotion on baby's skin after, so that it will look it's best for photos.
  • What should my baby wear for the photo session?
Dress your baby in a loosely fit nappy and an outfit that's easy to take off. This will ensure that there are no creases in the skin for their photos and we won't wake the baby too much if they are sleeping when you arrive.
  • What if I'm arriving late for the session?
There might be heavy traffic on the way so please plan your trip accordingly. If you are arriving late, please let me know as soon as possible so I can arrange my time accordingly. Late arrival may result in shorter photo session and/or package downgrade or cancellation.
  • When is the best time for a maternity photo shoot?
The best time for the maternity photo shoot is usually between 28-35 weeks of pregnancy.

Your partner and kids can join us so feel free to bring them along. Please let me know prior to the session.
  • Which part of the day is the best for a maternity photo session?
I always recommend sunrise or sunset times to achieve best results. Natural light conditions around sunrise and sunset combined with fluffy clouds and picturesque scenery create excellent conditions for the photography.
  • What should I wear for a maternity photo session?
The answer is simple. Wear something you feel comfortable in. If you don't know what to wear, don't worry. I can provide up to three maternity dresses for hire so you can choose your favourite one. All dresses are stretchy so most figures will fit in perfectly. Mornings and evenings can be a little chilly, so make sure you have some extra warm clothes to put on during changing photo shoot locations.
  • How long does a maternity session last?
From my experience, I can tell that a typical maternity photo session usually lasts up to two hours (depending on your selected pacakge). You might want to change your maternity dress during the photo session and that's fine. We will be moving from one location to another for a landscape change. Every photo shoot location is within a short walking distance so there is nothing to be worried about.
